We all know the age old saying, “no white after Labor Day,” but is it still considered a fashion faux pas, or is it acceptable if the weather is still sunny and warm? I believe in the latter of the two, which is why in today’s post, I’m showing you how I’ve been wearing white after Labor Day. This is also my very first fashion/style post so I’m very excited about that as well!
I think one of my new favorite summertime looks is anything with a pair of white pants. I’ve recently been so drawn to the crisp, clean look that comes with a pair of white pants.
I only purchased my first pair of white trousers about 2 years ago from Zara, but ever since, I look forward to wearing them all summer long, and then some!
I tend to wear them on cooler days, or out to dinner in the evenings, as pants can be a bit of a burden in the heat of summer. This is also why I have still been enjoying wearing white into the start of Fall/Autumn.
Jewel Tone Pairing
I particularly love pairing my white jeans with jewel tones, like this top from Stefanel, for a stark contrast. But I have also been known to go for a pastel pairing for a lighter look.
How do you feel about white pants? Are they something you wear everyday, or more as a statement piece? Do you dare wear white after Labor Day, like me, or are you a fashion-rule-follower? 😉 Let me know how you style them on yourself!
