Happy National Nail Polish Day! In case you didn’t already know, today has been dubbed National Nail Polish Day by none other than Essie. June 1, 2017 is the first ever edition of this new “holiday” and to be completely honest, I couldn’t be more excited! To celebrate this new special day, I decided to bring “A Crewed Interest” by Essie to the blog today.
National Nail Polish Day
If you have made your way around my blog before then you know that nail polish is my thing. I have a collection of over 100 polishes, with a good half of the bunch being exclusively Essie. So I honestly cannot think of a more fitting holiday for me to want to celebrate.
With National Nail Polish Day being brought to life by Essie, I wanted to showcase an Essie polish for today’s post and with my current obsession with pastels, A Crewed Interest fit the bill perfectly. You should know by now that I have a love-hate relationship with pastel polishes which is highly dependent on the formula. I am happy to report though that in the case of A Crewed Interest, this is a polish that goes into the “love” category.
The Perfect Pastel Peach
Although you need a good three coats to achieve the perfect pastel peach opacity, the formula goes on smoothly allowing you to avoid goopy fingertips that take ages to dry. If you’re someone that often opts for nude polishes then I urge you to go slightly out of your comfort zone and try this peach polish. It is subtle enough that it isn’t so far off from a nude, but adds a fun touch of color to add a little more livelihood to your manicure.
Are you celebrating National Nail Polish Day today? If so, what polish do you have on your nails today? Let me know in the comments below!

I actually celebrated wearing a tribal nail art design using my pastel Essie gel nail polish. You have stunning images by the way.
