Helicopter Ride Over Valle Verzasca

In celebration of Swiss National Day today, I thought I would share my latest adventures – a helicopter ride over Valle Verzasca!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be treated to my very first helicopter ride and I absolutely loved it! I must say, the month of July was filled with quite a few new (and some old) experiences, such as paragliding, bungee jumping (vlog coming soon to my YouTube channel), but riding in a helicopter was a completely new and different experience from those two.

We flew over the dam and river of Valle Verzasca in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland, where I had gone bungee jumping just two weeks previously.

Inside the helicopter While the day was a bit cloudy, providing less than optimal views, I still had the time of my life. And although the ride lasted about 10 minutes, I had a smile on my face the entire time.

Going for a helicopter ride is truly a special treat and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for spectacular bird-eye views.
