January 2017 Instagram Memories

And just like that, the first chapter of the year is officially over! As I mentioned in my first post of this year, one of my blog goals for 2017 is to do a monthly round-up of my memories from that month based (mostly) around my Instagram posts. As someone who enjoys reminiscing, I thought this would be a nice way to take a moment to remember and reflect upon each month as it comes to a close. I hope you enjoy my January 2017 Instagram Memories!

Matcha Overload

Matcha latte and cheesecake

Similar to 2016, I started the year in London and one of my favorite parts about doing so was having my fill of all things matcha! You could say I’m a bit obsessed with matcha and whenever I see something on a menu made with it, you can be sure I’ll be ordering it. That’s why I loved this matcha latte and cheesecake from L’ETO Caffe. Both were delicious and I definitely was a bit of a matcha overload after that!

Sharing Positivity

One of the high points of January for me was sharing my “Being Grateful Everyday – New Year’s Resolution Inspiration” post. I love the idea of using my blog as a space to share positivity and this post was exactly that. I definitely plan to continue with these kinds of posts as I also love sharing different aspects of my life and I felt that this kind of post allowed me to share another side of me and who I am.

Blogging Consistency

According to my January Instagrams, it seems as if I was traveling around a lot, but the reality of the situation is that I was just catching up on a bunch of content I collected during my travels at the end of last year. In all honesty, I do wish I had some more “real-time” images for this month, but I do feel quite proud that I posted quite consistently in January. I uploaded 5 blog posts in January, a personal best in my short time as a blogger! I hope to only increase that number and consistency in February.

All in all I still feel quite proud of my January 2017 Instagram Memories and I’m looking forward to further improving my Instagram game this month!
