Goodbye May, hello June! I am so excited for the arrival of June, as summer is my favorite season and also my birthday month! But before I get ahead of myself, let’s take a look back at the month of May and dive into my May 2017 Instagram Memories.
Consistency
May was a big month for my Instagram because for the past 2 weeks, I have posted a picture everyday. For some, that might not be a lot or a big deal, but for me it really is and I’m quite proud of myself for that. Each month I set a goal of how many followers I hope to achieve by the end of the month and while I’m a bit short for May, I still feel so proud that I’ve been keeping up with it (and my blog) so well this month! And while I didn’t reach my goal of 550 by the end of May, I still came close and have gained quite a few followers this past month nonetheless. *Edit: I did end up reaching my goal of 550 followers by June 1! Thanks to everyone who follows me on Instagram!*
Well Rounded Content
The month of May saw a few style posts as well as my nail polish beauty posts, with a sprinkling of food posts. All in all, I’m quite satisfied with how well rounded my content for this month has been, and honestly, it was completely by chance! I haven’t completely decided if I am going to continue posting something to Instagram everyday in June, but I must say, I have quite enjoyed the results and how my feed is turning out!
First Ever Planner Spread
I also introduced something completely new on my Instagram – my very first planner spread! Planning has become a big part of my life over the past year and another passion of mine. I absolutely love how beautiful planner spreads look and I was so proud of this particular spread that I just had to share it on my Instagram.
