“Sew Psyched” by Essie

Hello friends! I’m back and today I will be jumping straight into the first of many Fall/Autumn polish reviews I’ll be sharing on my blog over the next few weeks. To start off, here is my short review of “Sew Psyched” by Essie during my travels in Iceland.

Sew Psyched 1

This shade from Essie is such a beautiful, muted green tone that makes it super wearable without being overly bright, dark, or obvious like other autumnal colors.

The formula is surprisingly opaque, with 2 coats providing the perfect coverage. As always, I finished this manicure with the Seche Vite top coat.

Gullfoss, Iceland

These photos were taken at Gullfoss, or Golden Waterfall, located in southwest Iceland. This is one of the main tourist attractions in Iceland, and although I was there on a particularly cloudy and rainy day, it was still absolutely stunning. While I was there, I couldn’t help but be reminded of when I visited Niagara Falls in Canada a year ago. The landscape in Iceland is extremely different and unique, which only further adds to the country’s natural beauty. I visited Gullfoss during my private tour with SuperJeep. This excursion was part of the Golden Circle & Langjökull Glacier tour, which I highly recommend if you’re heading to Iceland anytime soon. SuperJeep does a great job of showing a ton of the best sites in Iceland, in just a day’s time. Well worth the money!
